Tromso, Norway

We spent one week in Tromso, Norway in 2019. It was a bit cold but the landscapes were beautiful so I wanted to share some with you. We stayed in a B & B which was very nice and cheaper than a hotel. Everything is quite expensive in Norway. The best is to rent a car with winter tyres, driving is quite easy there as not so busy on the roads. Be careful in Tromso center, you have to pay for every parkings and we even got a fine as we did not put enough money in the machine and stayed an extra 20 minutes! We did a tour with Husky dogs and participate to a training with them, it was very nice. We did not do the Whale watching as too expensive. My favourite spot in the area was Sommaroy, it looks like a Caribbean resort with the snow, beautiful turquoise waters and lots of shells! We took the cable car to the top of Tromso to enjoy the beautiful sunset and had a nice dinner there. The view on the city was amazing! We also spotted some Northern lights which was a unique experience, not easy to know when or where but at the end with luck you can see them!
