Who am I?

I was born in Annecy and I love this little part of the world but after my Business Studies, I decided to travel around the world: working experience in Québec, Erasmus student in Cardiff (Wales) for a year, 6 years working on luxury cruise lines as Assistant Cruise Director, 2 years in a hotel in St Barth (Caribbean). Since I came back in 2008, I decided to become a taxi driver in the village of my grand parents (Massingy).

Massingy is a small lovely village in the country side, I drive its inhabitants to their appointments or trips and I also provide taxi transfers from Geneva airport to Annecy. I am happy to welcome tourists in this lovely area and to share my knowledge and tips about Annecy. I also write a blog in English about Annecy where you can find ideas of things to do, restaurants and some photos.

Taxi rates

Here, taxi rates are decided by the Préfecture of Haute-Savoie, the rate will be shown on the taximeter accordingly.

Day rate from 8h to 19h (7pm)

Night rate from 19h (7pm) to 8h, Sunday or Bank holiday in France

Those rates are for up to 4 persons

Regarding Geneva airport :
But we are not allowed to do trips only within Switzerland, at least the arrival or departure must be in France.
– Swiss taxis are more expensive but the French taxis need to be booked in advance
– Geneva airport is built on some French lands too, so there is a French exit in the Ain county available for flights arriving from French airports only. This exit is not used much and make the trip 15 min longer so please use the main Swiss exit.
