Beaches of Lake Annecy

During the summer it is lovely to go for a swim and enjoy the sun, discover the different beaches of Lake Annecy!

It is nice to try a few of them as the view and atmosphere can be different.

All of them have shower and toilets facilities.

Free beaches

* Plage des Marquisats (on the way to Sévrier) 10 min walk from center

Snack bar.

* Plage d’Albigny in Annecy-le-Vieux (on the way to Veyrier)

20 min of a lovely walk from the center but you can also take the bus. It is probably the most famous one and offers plenty restaurant options.

* Plage de la Brune in Veyrier-du-Lac (paying parking and sometimes not enough space) but you can go biking there

Next to the castle and in front of Talloires, lovely spot to watch the paragliders flying opposite

How to get to the beaches of Lake Annecy?
For some you can walk there, take a bus, cycle on the bike path or take a boat.
Avoid driving as the traffic can be bad and not always easy to park there…

Below some photos of Talloires Beach on May 1st 2015 . In Annecy area, Labour day is also the official day for the opening of outsides swimming pools and beaches. Not this year!!!! Grrrr….Snow not far away!!!

Next to Talloires, enjoy this beautiful beach with a gradual slope in the water.

It is perfect for families and you will find a lots of trees to protect from the sun.

Volley ball, pétanque, pique nique tables, toilets, showers, snack bar and of course with Lifeguards during the summer.
