How to go from Annecy to Geneva airport by car? 

The distance is 45 km and takes 40 min depending on traffic.

Take the highway A41 direction Genève. It is the fastest and most direct route to drive from Annecy to Geneva. The toll is approximately 10€ per trip and you will need the Swiss vignette (40€) to use the Swiss highway.  You can also use the free road D201, approximately 15 min longer than the high way depending on trafic. You will drive through Allonzier-la-Caille and Cruseilles. It is a lovely scenic drive from Annecy to Geneva if you have time. You can stop at Allonzier-la-caille Bridges, lovely little walk and view. Also you will drive through hameau du Père Noël, Santa’s village which has lights on during the season.

How to get from Annecy to Geneva airport by public transport?

You have buses and shuttle regularly  (like Flixbus or BlaBlaCar Bus) connecting Annecy and Geneva airport. The trip is from 1h to 1h30 depending on trafic. You also have the local bus  which is reliable.

Take a train from Annecy train station to Annemasse, then the Leman express to Geneva. It will take approximately 1h15. Check the time table in advance as less options on Sunday or bank holiday.

How to go from Annecy to Geneva airport by Taxi?

Different companies are operating from Geneva and Geneva airport. The Swiss taxis are a lot more expensive so to get a better rate you will need to book in advance a French taxi company. Private transfers from Annecy to Geneva airport are more expensive but also faster and more comfortabe. If you are travelling with kids or lots of luggage, this is probably the best way to get from Annecy to Geneva airport for a door to door service.

If you drive your car to the airport you will need to pay the toll in France, the vignette in Switzerland and the parking at the airport) so at the end the taxi will be the cheapest way to get from Annecy to Geneva airport.
