My Favorite Restaurants in Annecy, I am sorry if I forgot any… Those below are the ones I tried myself and I wish I could try them all but it is unfortunately not possible!
List of my favorite Restaurants, I tried to sort them out so it will be easier for you but some could be in different categories:
Cheese Specialties Restaurants: Le Chalet, Mamie Lise, L’étage, le Beignet alpin, L’estaminet et le Fréti.
Enjoy a fondue, raclette or Tartiflette (the very local specialty with Reblochon cheese)
French restaurants: Chez Ingall’s, Brasserie Brunet, L’artisan, Le Bouillon, Vif , Lila Rose et Bistro du Rhône
Best burgers: Roster , l’heure Tourne et le Burger de Papa
Fish Restaurants: Auberge du Lyonnais, Les contes de la mer, Cozna, le denti,
They serve classic French or Savoyard as well but offer a good fish option. Local lake fishes are Féra, Omble Chevalier (arctic char), Perche or Brochet (pike).
Wine bars: La Cave, Le P’tit cru et les Parcellaires.
Brunch in Annecy: Dip, Sanzaru, Le bar roux d’heure, Pura Vida, Punch et Slake
Most of them are vegan and gluten free too.
Vegan/Gluten Free: Kia Ora, Granny Smith, Haven (Australian), Baida Café , So Kaffé (Danish) et la Cabane
Summer Gems outside Annecy: L’oasis in Sévrier, Les Cassines in Talloires, Le Petit Paradis à Talloires
Restaurants in Annecy-le-vieux : les 4 gourmets, Café Brunet, le bel abri, Bora Bora et Rita pizzeria
With a car near Annecy: la Ferme Charbonnière in Menthon (cheese dishes at the farm), Chalet Pricaz in col de la Forclaz (cheese dishes with a view, perfect for sunset view), Bistrot 1903 in Talloires, Brunch in Talloires in Boho, la table de Yoan Conte in Veyrier, le Belvédère near Aix-les-Bains, Les Bourgeons in Alby-sur-Chéran, les Tilleuls (fish) in St Jorioz, Boulangerie Matt et Lulu in Sévrier

Glacier des alpes et Glace and cow
Pastry shops/Chocolatier/Tea rooms
Rose des Neiges et Philippe Rigolot (2 different places but same owner, Rose des nieges lovely pinky cosy place for the winter but in the summer I prefer the quiet terrasse of the boutique), Olivier Pauriche , Sébastien Vauxion , Folie Royale et Patrick Agnelet
Boulangeries: Aristide, Pan et Gatô, Rouge et Campagne Faubourg
Tip: a good bakery has a sign Artisan meaning the bread was made there 100%
Cheese shop: Chez Pierre Gay et Alain Michel Cremerie du lac
