Philippe Rigollot, the local famous Pastry Chef (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2007 and World Champion Pastry Chef 2005) has 2 tea rooms in Annecy (one Place Volland and one Rue Jean Jacques Rousseau). Rose des Neiges is perfect during winter time with its chic pink cosy atmosphere, cakes, nice hot chocolate or in the summer where you can enjoy homemade ice creams.
The cakes are just beautiful, original and delicious.
There you can also enjoy a lovely tea or coffee, buy Macarons or chocolates.
Rose des Neiges is one of my favourite tea room in Annecy Old Town where I like to meet with friends.
I believe the 2 best sellers are of course the beautiful Rose and the Apple (which really looks like a Granny apple).
The cakes are approximately 5€ each (cheaper if you take away).
You can also have a quick lunch there but the menu for salted dishes is not very wide (Croque Monsieur, Tartines or quiche).
It is open every day from 10h until 19h (closing at 18h on Sundays).
In the summer, you can also enjoy a very nice peach ice tea.
