If you are staying in Annecy without a car, you can use Semnoz and Forclaz Summer Bus for some fresh mountain air.
9 buses can take you from Annecy to Semnoz mountain:
* every week ends or bank holiday in June
* every day from July 1st until August 31st
The bus is running from 8h40 until 19h and is departing from Annecy Gare Routière quai 11.
You can also stop at Station du Semnoz and take a next bus to the top.
For those who have a bike, we will recommend you to be there 10 min before.

You can also take the bus at the City Hall bus stop, Auberge de Jeunesse, Belvedere Camping, the deers park, the Puisots, Semnoz ski departure (summer sludge), Rochers Blancs restaurant and the Terminus at les Alpages.
Station Semnoz (ski departure in the winter) but in the summer you have some activities for kids, summer sludge, black mountain, Runix, a mini kart and a snack bar.

You can also walk to the Alpages.
From there you can walk to the Alpage farm (and maybe buy some fresh cheese) or walk further to the Semnoz Refuge.

You also have 11 buses a day to go to Col de la Forclaz (you will need to get a bus from Annecy to Talloires then take the second bus from Talloires).
You could stop at St Germain to enjoy the view from the Church and grotto.
Then you could stop at Verel, to hike approximately 20 min to Angon waterfall.
