Last summer with my boyfriend, we wanted to spend a night away in the area, and I found this original place so we booked the night at Rhodos Chalet and Restaurant at Col des Aravis. Col des Aravis is located after la Clusaz ski resort, approximately 45 min from Annecy. You could go there in the winter to do snow walking or in the summer to enjoy biking or hiking.
Chalet les Rhodos has 5 theme rooms, we loved the “Cheyenne” room, “Suite very chic altitude”, “Voyage”, “Sport Vintage” and “Music”. All the rooms are well decorated with a lot of charm and originality with a mountain touch.
The Mountain Bistrot is a restaurant with 2 terrasses or fire place in the winter, the menu offers local specialities with the Chef touch. Very good place to organize your parties or enjoy a relaxing romantic moment.
Lovely original romantic get away with an amazing view on Mont Blanc, perfect to relax and enjoy the local food, do not hesitate to go and buy your Reblochon cheese in the farms near by.
Parking is very easy in the morning but Col des Aravis can be very busy in the afternoon, but most people leave at the end of the afternoon and lovely to have a drink at the terrasse.
